Set on the historic mid links, this lovely hotel dates back to 1875.

Best Western Links Hotel rests close to the town centre and is within walking distance of the 5th oldest golf course in the world and the 3 miles of golden sand of Montrose Beach. This former Edwardian townhouse is an excellent choice for private guests, smaller groups and families. It offers quality and individual designed bedrooms. The food and service is highly commended and for more informal eating, the Dutch Koffiehuis will delight you with an exciting mix of Scottish and continental cuisine.

The Best Western Links offers excellent facilities together with excellent hospitality, ensuring you a refreshing and relaxing stay.

For events, the hotel's conference facilities feature 3 versatile suites of varying sizes. The main room and Fairways Suite combined can comfortably accommodate as little as 26 and up to 360 people. On the 1st floor, the hotel offers the very distinguished drawing room, part of the original townhouse.

Important Information

The hotel is completely non-smoking in public areas and bedrooms. However, we do have a smoking area outside.

Charges for pets are priced at £15 per night.

Room information

The hotel has 25 light and airy bedrooms, all en suite with bath and/or shower. Each of the comfortable and luxuriously appointed rooms is uniquely themed and decorated to exceptional standards. You can choose to stay in our Tour de France Room, the Garden Room, Thistle Room, or for football fans, the Ajax Room.

You may prefer one of our rooms with a private balcony overlooking the park. In the original house we have room 19 which is a large double room and often used as a honeymoon suite or for those celebrating a special occasion. Ground floor accommodation is also available should this be required.

Comfortable bedrooms will be available to suit all types of guests: singles, doubles, twins and superior rooms. All are serviced daily to the highest of standards and are non-smoking.

Dine in style in our One aa Rosetted A'La Carte Restaurant, where Franc, our French Chef, will delight you with an exciting mix of Scottish and Continental Cuisine. On Sunday only, in afternoon the hotel serves a Carvery Lunch and in the evening a Carvery and Grill.

Follow the signs to the town centre and when approaching the high street, turn down into George Street and take the second left. The Links is situated along this road on the left. Or A90 Dundee to Aberdeen, take A935 to Montrose. At first traffic lights turn right, take second left then second right. The Links Hotel is situated along this road on the right.
